Fees are permitted by Public Notaries in the state of KS but not required by state law or regulation. Fees will be agreed upon before the notarial act is performed.
In MO, per RS Mo. 486.685, a notary may charge the maximum fee, charge less than the max, or waive the fee specified in that section. A notary may charge a travel fee as long as the fee has been agreed upon in advance of the travel and the notary explains that the travel fee is separate from the notarial fees prescribed in Section 2 of that Revised Statute.
